Thank you for stoping by and looking through my work. Tequila Creative Studio is comprised of myself, Abel Arciniega, and two great photo associates. I worked as an editorial photographer in Chicago for 8 years, for several publications, before I decided to start Tequila Creative Studio.

 

I approach wedding photography with two philosophies.

One is to be photo-journalistic. Capturing those unexpected moments, a flirty glance, a secret kiss or a burst of laughter. These are the small details and intimate moments that tell your story.

My other philosophy is to be editorial. To direct, compose, and create interesting shots. These are the pictures that will be high-impact, dramatic and creative.

 

Although I have a photo-journalistic approach throughout the day, I understand the importance of formal family pictures. So, be assured we will get all of those as well.

 

I only accept a limited number of weddings per year to ensure I dedicate time to the post-production process of the images. The processing of images is just as important to make sure we end up with the best possible images of your special day.

 

A bride and groom spend more time with their photographer than anyone else on their wedding day and it is essential to select one they trust and get along well with.

 

When not shooting weddings I maintain a busy schedule covering editorial assignments and sports, as the official photographer of the professional MLS soccer team Chicago Fire. My 2 kids and wife take up the rest of my time when the camera is not in my hands. I wouldn't have it any other way.
